Motor mount overview for YZ-2CA/DTM

This machined aluminium motor plate is intended for use with raised gearbox layouts on Yokomo YZ-2CA/DTM machines. Switching which motor mounting holes are used changes motor height so the drive line can be matched when the gearbox is positioned higher using the relevant spacer set.

The plate offers two motor mounting hole positions to suit various motor offsets. Selecting the hole marked "-2" returns the motor to the stock longitudinal location when the gearbox is raised by 2mm, helping to maintain proper pinion and spur mesh without additional shimming. The item is designed as a direct-fit replacement motor plate for compatible chassis.

Fitting notes: secure the mount to the chassis and gearbox, verify gear mesh after moving the motor, and ensure motor alignment before final screw torque.
