Fine-Tune Steering with a 1.0mm Offset

This graphite steering block plate is produced for Yokomo YZ-2T 2WD racing trucks and the compatible Yokomo chassis listed below. With the tie rod mount moved 1.0mm rearward relative to the YZ-2CAL2 plate, initial steering bite is softened while linear feedback across the steering arc is preserved. The item ships as a pair (2 pcs) and is intended for incremental setup adjustments rather than replacing major components.

Use the plate when you want subtler turn-in or to rebalance a twitchy front end without altering main suspension geometry. Installation retains the original mounting points and steering link orientation, so the swap is generally straightforward; always check that link threads are fully engaged and verify clearance after fitting, especially on modified cars.

Choose the 1.0mm rear offset if your car exhibits overly sharp initial steering or requires a calmer turn-in to suit traction conditions; it smooths the front-end response while keeping predictability.
The plate mainly affects initial turn-in and has minimal impact on mid-corner balance. It can help a car rotate more progressively into the corner by reducing early steering bite.
Yes. The modification is reversible by reinstalling the original plate. Keep the original parts and test on-track to compare handling before committing to a permanent change.
