Titanium M3x15 tapping screw for 1/10 drift models

The Yokomo ZC-F315TT is supplied as a titanium tapping screw for use with Drift Package series drift cars. It is intended to secure chassis and body panels where reduced weight and rust resistance are priorities.

The screw uses a tapping thread style that works with metal and reinforced plastic mounting points commonly found on 1/10-scale drift rigs. It helps maintain reliable joints and offers lower mass than steel alternatives, with improved resistance to corrosion in damp or marine-adjacent environments.

Installation guidance stresses correct engagement of threads and avoidance of over-torque to prevent stripping in softer materials. This part is well suited to regular maintenance regimes where disassembly and reassembly occur during setup and repairs.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Torque depends on the mating material; use conservative torque settings for plastic posts and a calibrated driver for metal mounts to avoid thread damage.
Light threadlocker can be used where vibration is an issue, but avoid heavy compounds that make future removal difficult; a small amount of lubricant may help prevent galling if reusing screws often.
Examine the screw and mating threads for signs of wear, distortion or galling; if thread integrity is compromised, replace the screw rather than risk damage to the chassis or body mounts.
